Arrival and Dismissal
- Students arriving by bus will be greeted by staff members stationed in front of the building on the front drive.
- Students will exit the bus and walk toward the main entrance.
- Upon students entering the building they will grab breakfast:
- Front Foyer - grab and go breakfast available on tables, and milk cart stationed in the middle of the walkway.
- Breakfast will be taken to the classrooms to eat.
- Garbage cans will be stationed in the hallways for students to dispose of their breakfasts.
- Students walking to school should utilize the sidewalks.
- A crossing guard will be stationed at the stop sign crosswalk.
- Upon approaching the school building, students should enter through the main entrance.
- Upon students entering the building they will have two options for breakfast:
- Front Foyer - grab and go breakfast available on tables, and milk cart stationed in the middle of the walkway.
- Breakfast will be taken to the classrooms to eat.
- Garbage cans will be stationed in the hallways for students to dispose of their breakfasts.
- Parents will utilize the staff parking lot loop as the drop off point.
- Staff members will stand in designated areas to assist with drop off.
- Staff members will direct and unload four cars at a time.
- Staff members will greet families, and open the door for children to exit the vehicle.
- Cars will exit the parking lot by following the flow of traffic .
- If students arrive between 8:05-8:15AM, students will stand behind the post with their grade level numbers.
- Students will then walk toward the building, and enter through the main entrance.
- Upon students entering the building they can grab breakfast:
- Front Foyer - grab and go breakfast available on tables, and milk cart stationed in the middle of the walkway.
- Breakfast will be taken to the classrooms to eat.
- Garbage cans will be stationed in the hallways for students to dispose of their breakfasts.
- All students will be excused via an announcement.
- Staff members will stand outside of each bus using a colored flag that represents each bus color.
- Students should walk to their designated bus and board.
- All students will be excused via an announcement.
- Walkers will exit the building through their respective doors.
- Students should walk on the blacktop to meet family (waiting by the playground fence) or directly to the sidewalk to head home.
- All walkers should utilize the available sidewalks.
- A crossing guard will be stationed at the stop sign crosswalk to assist students.
- All students will be excused via the dismissal announcement.
- Car riders will exit with their class, through the respective doors.
- Students should walk to the pickup zone
- Each post in the pickup zone will be labeled with a grade level.
- Students should line up behind their grade level number, while remaining in the pickup zone.
- Students will be encouraged to face the cars and be on the lookout for theirs/listen for their name.
- One grade level rep will monitor their respective grade level in the pickup zone
- Four staff members will direct and load up four cars at at time.
- Cars will exit the parking lot by following the loop around the parking lot to the entrance/exit.
